Mary was such a good neighbour to me, my partner Alice and our son Rhys. We lived next door to each other for over 10 years, although we only really got to know each other in the last 5 or so. We had regular catch ups to discuss what was going on in the world, share stories of our boys and she would educate me on cool music. Mary was so generous to Rhys, bought him his literally favourite toy car amongst other cool things and always asked after him. He loved coming in to visit the cats. Mary is really missed in the block. Our thoughts are with Levi and the rest of Mary’s family. RIP x

I met Mary in hospital in 2019 and we had long conversations in the dining room. She wrote to me only a few months ago and I had quite a lot going on that month and I didn't get round to sending her a Facebook message until some weeks later. I wish so badly I had replied to her letter sooner. She was such a great friend to me and made me laugh often during the time we spent together, and we had plans that I would visit her when I moved North in September. I was really looking forward to seeing her again. I will miss her hugely, and I'm glad to have that letter as a piece of her I will always remember her by.
